Shakespeare Language
Blank verse is composed of unrhymed lines in the same meter in iambic pentameter. It was often used by Shakespeare.
a. Wait a minute! Time is on our side.
b. You are lovely.
c. If it's done, it's over.
d. Where did they go?
Thine art greasy, reeky fat kidneyed crutch.
Tho vacant, whoreson, empty-hearted, rabbit-sucker.
Tho art bawdy, claybrained, rabbit- sucker.
